What more perfect time of the year is fall?

The smells are intoxicating, the colors are mesmerizing and everyone is happy because no one is sweating! Wonderful smells of pumpkin spice and apples fill the cafes and people start cooking heavier fare which makes for comforting food. Doesn’t it just put a smile on our face? I can tell you for certain that it does on mine! One of my favorite reasons I love fall is for the numerous ways to decorate your house. There is the regular autumn decor that take their cues from nature. You could go the Halloween direction and go for more of a scared and creepy look. Or, you can just go rustic.

Really, anything goes and that’s why it’s the best!

There is something so truly beautiful about copper. Perhaps because I find it is underused and it’s color is so crisp and clean, especially paired with white. 2) Chalk Paint Pumpkins

Recently,  I have been addicted to looking at pictures of chalk painted objects. I can’t get my eyes off of this one! I absolutely adore how understated this masterpiece is! I think I love the neutral colors so much that it can really go with just about any decor, making it very ideal. Kelli and Kristi from Lolly Jane did a fantastic job with this project that I can’t wait to try it out! I also truly love that everything is fake because it now becomes an investment piece!
